Registration Information

Get ready Huskies the time to register for hockey is coming soon! Preparation for the 2019-2020 hockey season is underway.  Check back in August to register players.

Player Requirements and Registration

All participants MUST register with USA Hockey prior to registering with the association.  In addition to the great benefits USA Hockey brings to the sport in general, USA Hockey requires this registration for players and coaches as USA Hockey carries AHYHA's insurance.  If there are any injuries on the ice, USA Hockey holds that liability so your player or coach is covered.

Each participant will pay the USA Hockey fee of $40 and $10 Minnesota Hockey fee if age 7 or older. The USA Hockey fee is waived for age 6 and younger. Registration must be completed for all players regardless of age.
Each Traveling or Mite/8U family is required to complete 12 hours of volunteer work for each hockey season. Volunteer commitment information will be collected as a part of player registration.  First year hockey families (those never having a child play hockey with a USA Hockey affiliated association) are exempt.
