Welcome back! Read important information from the AHYHA President in this season's Welcome Letter, including updates about Association eligibility and fee changes.
AHYHA player eligibility is defined by Minnesota Hockey. Players must register and participate with the association whose boundaries incorporate the player’s residence. The membership boundary for the AHYHA is defined by the geographic attendance boundary of Andover High School.
If unclear about player eligibility or have a new player that resides outside of the Andover Huskies Youth Hockey Association residential area DO NOT REGISTER, it will only delay the registration process. Please contact registration@ahyha.com to confirm eligibility or steps involved for first time waiver consideration.
MN Hockey has made material changes to school waiver policies. No new waivers will be granted to Mite/8U players or Junior Huskies. Players may request a waiver based on school attendance at the start of their first year of Squirt/10U.

Input your address into the Anoka-Hennepin School District Boundary finder tool. The results MUST say Andover High School. If the assigned High School is not Andover High School the player is NOT eligible to participate with the AHYHA.
If your first year Squirt/10U player lives outside of the Andover High School boundaries and attends an Andover Elementary school please contact registration@ahyha.com for eligibility confirmation.

All participants MUST register with USA Hockey each year prior to registering with the association. This includes players, coaches and volunteers.
USA Hockey membership fees are dictated by USA Hockey and vary by age and position.
If misplaced the confirmation number may be retrieved via the USA Hockey portal under member options.
Registration with USA Hockey is required each season.
First year Mite players are eligible for a registration discount. Request your discount prior to starting the AHYHA registration by sending the player name, birthdate and address to registration@ahyha.com.
Register all players within a household in a single registration session to receive multi-player discounts where applicable.
No post registration adjustments to discounts will be accommodated.

In addition to the benefits USA Hockey brings to the sport in general, USA Hockey requires this registration for players and coaches as USA Hockey carries AHYHA's insurance. If there are any injuries on the ice, USA Hockey holds that liability so your player or coach is covered.
USA Hockey membership fees are dictated by USA Hockey and vary by age and position. Non-coaching volunteer registration is free.
