Please familiarize yourself with the responsibilities outlined, along with the Andover City Policy on the Warming House Attendants attached on this page.

• A code for the lockbox will be sent to you the Sunday before your shift.

• The keys will open the door and turn on the lights.

• Please make sure you put the key back in the lock box once you have opened up the warming house, by rolling the lanyard around the key and putting them completely up into the lockbox.

• If you are closing the rink for the night, make sure that all garbage is picked up, lights are turned off and the warming house is locked up accordingly.

• If you find you are having issues with the lockboxes and/or keys, please contact the AHYHA outdoor rink coordinator

• Rinks close at 9:00 p.m.

CITY HALL RINK: - The light switch for city rinks is by the garage door. - If AHYHA hockey teams are having practice on the rinks, send other skaters to Prairie Knoll. - Make sure you turn the heat down to 55 degrees before you leave.

CROOKED LAKE ELEMENTARY: - The warming house desk contains a key to be used for the light switch. - Light switch is located on the southeast corner of the building. - Return key to the desk by the end of the shift.

PRAIRIE KNOLL: The light switch for Prairie Knoll is on the south side of the building between the bushes.

WEATHER: On days when the weather is questionable, please check your email to see if the rinks are closed or your DIB session has been cancelled. When ice time is cancelled you will still receive credit for your shift as long as you are signed up for the cancelled shift at least 3 days prior. For example: If you sign up in the morning for a shift that evening and the warming house is closed, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT.
