Andover city council has approved the building of outdoor hockey rinks.
The site for the new facility will be just west of the water treatment plant and will include two full size NHL rinks with Plexiglas enclosure, a free skating rink, a large warming house and possibly a dryland facility.
A lot of help will be needed to construct this facility as the construction and construction cost will all be at AHYHA's expense. Click here for a list of areas where we need people to help out to get this project constructed by next hockey season. Donated labor and/or materials will be greatly appreciated and will help with its completion. If you don't have the time to donate, a special account will be set up for any person or company that would like to make a monitory gift to the project. A special area will be set aside in the warming house to recognize all donations over $50 of time, material or cash gifts to the facility. Any company donating $750 dollars or more will receive recognition on the boards of the outside rinks.
If you have any question feel free to contact Tony Howard at tstormer13@aol.com
Note: All documents and information related to the outdoor rinks can be found in the Arena Info tab.
